OTA Committee Meeting

This will happen this coming Saturday 11th January at 10.00. All are welcome to attend. All are welcome to send us any thoughts that you feel should be discussed…anything really! The meeting takes place at the Foundation Centre on the Oxford Road, Thame.

Lord of Misrule

There was a tradition at the School for the senior pupils and the Masters to serve the juniors at one lunchtime before Christmas instead of the juniors serving them. This comes from the Tudor tradition of the Lord of Misrule, which saw a commoner placed in authority over his social superiors.

Paul Hyland

Paul Hyland has now retired from his CEO position in Germany and moved back to the UK. Recently, he celebrated his 60th birthday and several OTs attended the bash including Dave Higgs, Steve Moles, Willie Cook, David Tomlinson and Greg Pugsley.

It is with great sadness to report the death of Ray Hawes, aged 75, on Sunday 3rd November after a long battle with cancer.  He died peacefully at home in Mt Pleasant, Charleston, South Carolina, USA.
