Alan Morton died on 29th April with Lung Cancer. Alan joined the school in September 1947 and played for the School’s 1st XV in 1951/52 and 1952/53. He lived in Horspath and was a regular attendee to the annual “Class of ’49” reunions. Alan is in the photo below along with a piece about the 1952 XV from the Tamensian magazine (they had a good record of wins that year). Alan Morton played in the forwards and was described as a ‘tower of strength.’
